Ok so i have a buddy who has a t-56 302/351 into a fox body mustang and of course its gonig in my 95 with a 351. He has the trans, crossmember, shifter, clutch and drive shaft, bell housing, clutch fork and trans mount. Its 10spline fyi
I already have an aluminum drive shaft- check
I have a bell housing awaiting a trans- check

I dont think it will work though, he says it will but i need some expert advice!
It has a mechanical speedo so you can direct plug into fox.]

I dont know if this will work at all, i havent got a vast knowledge of transmissions.

You might be able to fab something up from your existing cross-member? Don't quote me though. Don't know if you said you had it or not, but are your driveshaft and bellhousing for a t-56 swap? Is a t-56 the same housing as a t-5?

X2 if you have the t56 Sn95 bellhousing that would be a plus. If you bolted the fox bellhousing up to your sn95, the shifter
would be a little too close to the dash. Also, I believe the clutch forks for 94/95 are longer than the fox clutch fork, but
I'm not sure how all that works when you swap a t56 in it.

I don't have the Tdf sn95 bell housing. I have an aluminum one on my T5 now and will compare to see if it will work. Haven't pulled my trans yet.

Called DD perf and they said it should work? who knows if there right though.
Just have to wait and see

with the pro 50 sfi bellhousing it will work in the sn95 5.0. get yourself a crossmember from a 03-04 cobra with a t56(goto dealership they are cheap to get) you can then elongate the holes on the 2 bolt holes on the crossmember to trans mount to make it work. and brill holes in the frame to bolt the crossmember brackets to it or weld them. mine went to gether very easily when i did the swap

The parts that you have now for your T5 will not work. So don't even consider them. As for using the parts in your SN-95, its literally the same damn car. Everything that fits the fox will work in your car. The ONLY issue you MIGHT have is the crossmember for the transmission. I recall running into a problem with the width of the mounting ends of the fox crossmember, in the SN points.

using a bellhousing with a different length will do him no good what-so ever. If yo change the bellhousing depth, you would need to change the input shaft of the transmission also.

Yes, his shifter base will sit further forward. Is this a big deal? nope! All you need is a handle extension to move the shifter handle back 11/16"

I really wish i knew exactly what was needed to make the fox T56 swap fit an SN95, seems like they are much more common in the classifieds.

With the parts you listed that he has you will only need a trans crossmember. Nothing else. You can get one from AJE. D&D won't sell theirs separate. None of the part you have will be used. Your driveshaft is too long. A t5 bellhousing won't work on a T56.
