I'm working on installing a smog pump onto my '94 GT, while I have it apart putting new headers, intake gaskets and a few other things.
The previous owner took the system off, but I'd like to put it back on as they are fairly strict on emissions control systems here in Ontario.
Through a little research I've done, I've found that the tube going to the cats is the same as a Fox, as well as the diverter valve. Check valves shouldn't be a problem, as they look to all be the same. The pipe is still attached that goes to the back of the heads.
Is the bypass valve the same on a Fox, as what came on a '94-95?
I have a '94-95 used pump that I'm just going to use as a core, and I'm likely going to just put on a Fox pump since they're cheaper.
If the bypass valve is the same as a Fox, is the only difference between the Fox & SN95 smog systems the rubber hoses and how they go into the pump?
