forgot to mention that it is a rebuilt block with only 10k on it. I know trickflow advertises that it their top end kit will put down 300 to the wheels and I am just wondering if the different intake/exhaust will effect it.

It doesn't pull too badly under 2500 but once it gets on the other side of 3k it does go pretty quick. I bumped into a friend friday night and he has been dying to race me in his audi a4 bi-turbo. I got on it in first gear and wasn't suprised that it spun but when I slammed it into 2nd it kept right on spinning. Prior to the HCI it would shuffle the tires in 2nd a little but this time it spun them all the way till I hit 3rd.

Next money spent on her will be for suspension but I am already wondering what would be the next motor mod. Been dreaming about forced induction but the idea of 100 shot on it sounds really easy too...

smart idea with the suspension...suspension and a good set of sticky tires will go a long way

I'm hoping the PO of the 347 i got was told correctly from the guy he got the car from and my new 347 makes 409 RWHP :)

gezzz lord i hope not! my 03 mach one made more than that! and it had a 4:10 gear short throw and cold air

I'm saying 290-310. If it all flows together nicely i would say 325 at the tires. The real test is at the 1/4 though

Im guessin 280-285.

You didnt say if it was tuned or not, (assuming friday is a dyno tune?)

Im curious if the maf and TB are too big for the combo. Hurting numbers in the bottom end....

it currently has a sct chip from am muscle but friday is to get an actual tune done to get the few last little bugs out. I will be happy with 300 and anything over is just bonus really. I know the intake is opened up alot more then stock as well as the exhaust with the exception of the side exhaust. I am really suprised how much louder it is with the new heads/cam and just how it changed the sound in general. It use to be raspy in high rpms but all that is smooth now and just more throaty in general. Now I really need to get the stereo going even though the loud pedal has been plenty to enjoy the past couple weeks.

My guess is right at 300. 320 with a good tuner and ideal weather conditions. Good luck scott, it's gonna be wicked :D

weather has been really nice in the 70's with low himidity.

Wasn't as excited until bumped into my buddy and got on it for the first time. He caught up wanting to know what rpm I shifted at and I had no idea as I was too busy counter steering the little bit it wanted to drift.

Been thinkin that just a 100 shot on top of this would be as much as I would ever need(rarely) and not need the maint like forced induction would need.

I'm going to say 278rwhp, but depends on the dyno. My old HCI 302 made 270rwhp on a Mustang dyno which typically read lower than dynojets. If he is running on a dynojet, I'm guessing 288rwhp. Dyno numbers are for Supras and HP queens, the REAL test is the track. What's the point of making 500rwhp when you can't put it down?

obviously if you can't get it down it is just a number but this will make track time a little more fun.
