i really like how clean and simple the cobra out front looks but ive seen some really clean pics of stangs with the upper and lower grilles...im also thinking about buying that smoke headlight paint and doing that. how hard is it? can i do the corners as well?

Dont smoke your headlights, buy some pre-smoked. Taillights go ahead n smoke em.

+1 There are a few companies out there that has smoked headlights for you. Save you the hassle.

onyx i have to say your car is one of my favorites.
how hard can it be to spray some smoked paint on your headlights? its a lot cheaper that buying brandnew headlights. the only smoked headlights ive seen are going for 200

I don't have a great picture of my front end :/. One of the first things I did was put the Cobra emblem in the grille and clear corners. The clear corners do it for me, but I've seen some great looking smoked headlights, and the Cobra is the only way to go.

Thanks bro

I've heard tinting headlights can mess up the light output, some say they have no problems though. I got my headlights off eBay for $130, same ones that BOI sells.

Blue Oval Industries, also the same headlights sold by UPR, Late Model Restoration, etc. Here's a bad pic comparing them to my stock Cobra headlights:

it's more tedious than it is hard, you just don't have a lot of room to work. they can be pretty stubborn sometimes, my suggestion is swapping the old mounts to the new headilghts so you don't have to do much if any aiming of the new headlights.
