Fuel economy help

Okay so tomorrow I am suppose to make a 140mile mustang event trip. I have 3/4 of a tank left so its on the line right after the F mark. How much gas should I be left with if I drive the speed limit (70mph)? Will I have enough?

No idea what your car's setup is but at 70MPH driving decent I can get 140 miles on 1/2 tank of gas with OEM 3.27 gears

I'd be more worried about getting back home....

I find that 70 is at the upper end of the good mpg speeds. Setting the cruise between 60 & 65 give about .5-1 full mpg better than 70-75, 80 and above it drops off fast.

Well I was just thinking I've done 308 miles on a tank of gas. and I have 3/4 of a tank which means I've driven about 50-70miles on my tank so far

Not true; my 97 Cobra gets better gas milage at 75mph than at 65 mph.

Driving behind big rigs gets annoying and they can be slow but it REALLY helps fuel economy.

that means you get like 10 miles to the gallon. that blows.
