Since I got the stang, I've noticed the gauge has been a little funny...I'd drive 30+ miles, it wouldn't budge. Shut it off, start it up the next morning, and it would drop. It didn't always do this, didn't think much of it.

However, I filled it up about 50 miles ago on Friday, and it hasn't budged at all. Thoughts?

Figured that to be the case...and I guess it's still failing and not yet completely failed...it started slowly going down, and after a couple hours of driving, it seems to be moving like it's supposed to (but there was a lot of time before it started to move at all).

if the sending unit doesnt fix it i noticed that on a warm day my speedo will sometimes stick against the gauge face causing it to read differently. i had it do the same thing to my oil pressure gauge as well. I just pulled the needles off the post with a small fork just a hair and job done.
