As I start to get going on my build, i am starting to see that I still need to figure out what I'm doing with my fuel setup. My end goals are to be in the 600rwhp through a stall'd auto just to give an idea of what type of fuel setup I will need. It is return style, considering its 1997 Mustang GT. I currently already have:

Siemen Dieka EV1 60# injectors
Edelbrock High Flow Fuel Rails
Walbro 255lph intank fuel pump (already have from previous setup)

now, I understand I still need to do some fuel mods and that fuel is one area not to cheap out on. Considering what I have already, what all else do you recommend on me doing?

another walbro pump so i have a twin walbro setup?
change my tank to sump or sleeper tank?
10an line?
fuel pressure regulator?

are there any kits out there?

whats your price range look like?

fuel systems get as fancy as teh queen-of-england's-poon-naner.
3 pumps, external sump, braided lines, filters, more filters, regulators, rails, injectors, gauges, fuel cells, coolers .... it will probably be easier if you give us a price tag to start with... or are you just looking for the "minumum to get buy with" ?

i suggest going to a performacne shop and buying through them... they can give you a lot of great advice and they get parts cheeper. stuff like fuel line, they get in bulk, which means savings onto you!

for a big track car, i suggest an external sump with an external pump. 100 micron filter and a 10 micron filter. the aeromotive A1000 FPR is pretty much the industry "standard." The external pump can be placed in an easy-to-access location and the filters are simple to change. The external sump is fairly easy to do, if you have a welder.

here is a few examples of some "kits":

let us know what your thoughts are...

you don't even need all of that... this is what i'd recommend..

AFM inline pump kit, - http://www.andersonfordmotorsport.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=581&category_id=264&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1

if you upgrade your fuel lines, you will have no trouble supporting 60lb injectors, with this upgraded lines, rail and 60lb I've hit over 600hp on my mustang.. and for the price you can't beat it, it's made for the year mustang and comes with instructions i installed mine myself..

keep in mind you can always do a sump kit but price wise imo your best route is to do the inline pump kit

So say I did go with that AFM inline pump kit, would I also keep my Walbro 255lph intank pump that I currently have?

I'm guessing that I would do both, so if thats the case i could do the afm pump, my walbro pump, i already have the fuel rails and injectors....the only things i would need are the ugpraded fuel lines and a regulator?
