fuel pump fitting question

ok so im going to replace my fuel pump but i called the local parts shop and they need to know if its a plastic or brass fitting..and id like to know before i drop the tank so i can make this as fast as possible ..so i guess my question is which fitting do i need for a 94 mustang gt

I don't think it matters, my 255lph pump from treperformance.com had a plastic outlet. I think the stock one was brass but i cant remember 100%. I even think the walbro 255lph has a plastic outlet.

i dont think it matters as long as you get the right strainer

dont buy a pump from the parts store. they will only have a stock replacement. Buy yourself a walbro 255 from the internet.

thats the thing i dont have time to wait for one in the mail..i need it 2morro... i have to get to wrk onmonday and there is no way in hell im walking in the rain...
