I'm wondering what amperage maxi fuse you guys are running with a 255 lph fuel pump hooked up to the factory fuel pump harness? The factory pump uses a 20 amp maxi fuse, & I'm wondering if a 30 amp fuse will be enough?

DO NOT stick a 30 amp fuse in there unless you want a fire. If there was a 20 amp in there from the factory then that is what should be in there. If your popping a 20 amp fuse then there is something wrong.

if you want to bump the ampage up you need a BAP that is the correct way to do it... do not stick higher fuses where they do not belong

it seems odd to me that a fuel pump that pumps twice the fuel as a stock pump wouldn't need more amperage :dontknow: It only blew one fuse so far but if you say it shouldn't blow a 20amp fuse, what might be causing it to blow?

faulty wiring, too much load due to a dying pump, restriction from a clogged fuel filter straining the pump etc etc
