Hey guys, i need a lil help......my Fuel Pump fuse keeps blowing out. I drove the car yesterday and all was fine for about 20 min, then while driving the car sputtered and then died, I tried to restart and noticed that i didn't hear the fuel pump, so i checked the fuse and it was blown ! Long story short 2 fuses later, they kept blowing out and now what's weird is that the fuse in it now hasn't blown but the pump isn't coming on either anymore ! Even though there is a new fuse in it. Anyone gone or heard about this issue B4 ?

it almost sounds like you have a short in your fuel pump, but first check for wires shorting out, and if all that checks out it might be a bad pump. let us know what you find

I have had this issue before. I never really found out what was going wrong. I checked my alternator connections and found a small wire that was grounding out next to my coil. I would check for exposed wires.

Yes, that circuit powers the fuel pump through the relay module. we had a cobra that had this issue whenever he would turn a left hand corner. We replaced the module and the fuel pump, and made sure the connections were good on all grounds. It hasn't been back since.

Check for continuity between ground and the 12v positive wire going to the fuel pump with they key off. If there is some kind of continuity or resistance then there is probably a short somewhere. If you don't want to try and diagnose it, then just run a new wire to the fuel pump according to a good wiring diagram. Good Luck
