Fuel pump gone bad (need help)

Well i pulled my car out of the garage to do some drywall and the car started fine when i pulled it out, a week later i went to start it up and it was just turning over so i sprayed some starting fluid and it started and then died out. The car has 182k on it so its time for a new pump but my question is i have a 98 and everywhere i look i seem to see fuel pumps for 94-97 so 98 is on it's own i guess. So what pump should i get? BKK, Walbro, What's the dealeo with svt focus pumps will they work? Are they a direct fit or do you have to modify? Also i don't mind going bigger for plans down the road but say i get a 255 i will need a fuel pressure regulator to back off some fuel? I gotta get this done asap because i am getting it painted in the beginning of Nov. so lots of pics to come as soon as it gets done with a new nikon d5000 camera ccasion14: Thanks Guys

svt focus pumps are cheap, and will get you good enough for anything n/a

what kinda future is your car seeing as far as performance?

A couple things when you do replace your pump...

1. Go to advanced/autozone and get about 6" of fuel line for a fuel injected car. Once you get your pump just hand them it and tell them it needs to fit that.

2.ALSO!! Get fuel clamps for a fuel injected motor, the normal "worm" clamps always pop off the pump and then you have to drop the tank all over again.

My car has everything listed in sig and a walbro 190 which should be everything I'll need for a while staying N/A. If you dont plan on going boost anytime soon or ever, then I would do that.
