soo, quick question, maybe not so quick, i dont know. I really want to get my blower on but my tuner told me i need to get an in-tank fuel pump and an in-line fuel pump.

he said that the 98 cobras are a b**** to do fuel pump mods to because of the switch in fuel systems from 97 to the 99 cobras. i dont know much about this part of modding so can anyone help school me on swapping fuel pumps and what i need to do the swap?

the blower is an s-trim v2 with a 12lb pulley so should put me in the upper 400s to 500hp.

Trey IIRC the fuel pump really isnt that hard to get to..like a 45 min to 1 hour thing.

Look at the In-Tank fuel pumps as opposed to the inline ones...Aeromotive is a great brand.I think they do whole kits for our cars

i dont understand the requirement for both an in tank and in line. wouldnt a large enough in tank do the job?

Yeah but I think there is a little more to it than just a giant in tank. IM not sure though to be honest. Fuel stuff is where I get a little foggy lol

well i have a walbro 255 with a KB boost a pump and i made right under 550 and have more room before i max out that pump setup. in a week or 2 it should be up in the 600s, hopefully. and im not getting a new fuel system yet. i would think you could at least pull off that setup (walbro 255 and BAP) that i have even though yours is prolly not a return style fuel system.
