the hobbs and a relay are the simple easy way. Depending on what ecu your using they can supply outputs for that you can program to go by boost or rpm or what ever really.

As of late, the Holley EFI. Few users here have gone to it with good luck.

I can say I have been happy about the support I have been able to get after the purchase with my holley HP. I think that is probably one of the most important things to look for in this area myself because there are a few good brands making good efi systems.

I run twin external 255 l Walbros , they run all the time no hobbs switch. the original power wire goes to a relay that has dedicated 12V from batt. I use a 30A reset circuit breaker and a 40A relay, this setup w/ intank pickup tube and new lines supports 770Hp. I heats up fuel so the tank vent must be good.

The Holey hp kit looks intimidating. Thinking I'm just going to get everything pieced together and mounted so I can just finish up the rear of the car and get the parts out of the way. If I can stay motivated to work on the car I'll make a decision on which way to go after I finish up the engine bay, front suspension and tranny.
