My '11 says recommends premium fuel. I thought that was the middle one, so I got 91 for the 1st month. I then heard that was 93, so I got that. I don't have much $ now. I set aside $100/month just for gas. I take that & get it on a Walmart gift card to make sure I don't blow it. There are WM 20 miles, 36 miles, & 48 miles from where I live. 20 miles has 87, 89, & 91 octane. 36 has 87, ?, & 93 octane. 48 has 87, 89, & 91 octane. I'd rather go there b/c it's just a bigger town. It what I need isn't @ a Walmart, there are 3 there. Plus just has more everything. Why I brought this up, a friend says it's bad to mix octanes. Says it clogs up your fuel lines & stuff. I haven't heard this from anyone else. My 1st job I was a full service attendant, Sure I have forgotten a lot, but think I would remember hearing this. I had 93 & ran my car too low to get back for more. I ran it down to where it said I had 7 miles left. Filled up with 91. I still had 1.6 gal in my tank. Mixing octanes doesn't do anything, right? Thanks!!
