gauge cluster light went out

ok so one day i went to turn on my dash lights and i noticed 1/4 of the light is out on the left side where the gas and water temp gauge is.

this once happened in my 95 mustang and one day all of the lights went out completely. i checked the fuses everything is fine so why is only the one side light out??? has this happened to anyone else and how do i go about making the lights work again

Ha ha, mine are out in the same spot. it's funny because the speedo gets brighter as the speed goes up. It's my special Static Dynamic gauge cluster.

there is a chance the HL switch and/or the connector pigtail is burned up. or the connector has come loose on that side of the cluster

Happened to mine. Had to replace to Pigtail Harness. But I replaced the switch while i was in there.
