gauge help!!!!

well heres the problem i came out side last sat went to go get something out of the car and there it was hit and run was extremely pissed off. so after getting everything good to go with the insurance company and stuff i took it around the block to see how bad it was and well it still drove fine. to describe how it was hit front driverside corner enough to need a new marker light, fender, and bumper. frames good i dropped it off at the body shop to get it fixed today. anyways sorry to rant but after the accident the odometer quit working speedo and everything else works great and speedo is dead on. dont know what it could be besides the cluster itself just curious to see if i could try a few things to get it working before getting a new cluster.

Sounds like a classic case of odometer gear failure. The teeth on ours just tend to break/fall off.
