Already did air filter, oil changed when I bought the car ~1600 miles ago. Was going to do plugs, but pulled the #1 plug and discovered the previous owner had Autolite XP's put in. The plugs were clearly recent and gap was dead on at .52. Saw no need to mess with the rest especially because my plugs would have been a downgrade (Autolite double-plats).

Cleaned out the throttle body, did the MAF (and managed to avoid stripping the screws), changed the serpentine belt out for a new one. Next is fuel filter and some minor rustproofing on the bottoms of the doors and underside.

I also did the IAC restrictor mod, which required resetting the PCM by disconnecting the battery. Learned the hard way that this is a bad idea to do 90 minutes before an inspection!

So, other than needing to re-do the OBDII/Emissions part of the inspection, I'm quite happy with how the car is running.

that is the first I have heard about doing the computer reset after the restrictor plate. I just put mine in yesterday and it seems to be running fine now.

Mine needed it. It wouldn't run for more than a second or two without giving it some gas. This was with the 1/4" hole.

Good possibility there. After thinking about it some I really should have just unplugged the IAC and not the battery, then maybe I would have passed inspection. Damn OBDII
