ok im going to my front pinion seal and i was wondering if i be alright if i use redline 75W90 gear oil? Do i need to add the modifer friction fluid in or does that redline gear already has it? I was reading the back and it said use with limit slip and non limit slip.
Also what can of oil you use on a t5 tranny? Where the drain plug on them too? im a mustang newbie

if the gear oil says it can be used with limited slip, or had i think a GL-5 rating should be fine, but the friction modifier is pretty cheap just in case. mercon/dextron 3 for the t-5, i think the plug is on the driver side , but it might be passenger side.

I always ran ATF in my old T5 and it worked just fine. I use GM synchromesh in the 3550 I have now and it is the shaznats.
