My car is more of a driver then a track queen, doing the gear debate between 3.73-4.10 ratios and would like to know actual highway RPMs people with gears are getting

In other words at 5th gear at 55 or 65 MPH what RPMs do you have? Also of course need to know what gears you have

With my old 3.08 i was right at 70mph in 5th at 2000. Now i am about 2300-2400. I only got to drive the car a few times before i dropped the clutch.

4:10's and 5th gear
60mph = 2000rpm
80mph = 2500rpm
1st gear is just about usless on the street and hope you don't get stuck in traffic.

Before my rear locked up, I had 4.10's. I was doing about 2800 RPM's at 80mph with my 18 inch wheels. People may argue this point but I swear to you that I averaged better gas mileage with my 4.10's then I do now with the stock 3.27's. I only drive a 20 mile, highway, round trip to work and I was able to fill up my tank every thursday, but rarely drove on weekends and I drive the piss out of my car....but then again with the 4.10's you can drive the car at 35 mph in 5 gear and dont have to downshift out of 5th to pass on the highway. IMHO you wont feel that much of a difference with the 3.73"s to justify the price of parts and install. Go with the 4.10's I miss mine everytime I drive my car. Traffic IS NOT AN ISSUE because you can start from a dead stop in second gear or if its "crawling traffic" just leave it in first dont break at all and let the sucker coast, or if ur an auto...why worry at all.

I believe it...I swear my car seems to cruise better with more gear and the rpm up around 3k vs down at like 2300-2400

I can pretty much guarantee your speedo is off, those are the same RPMs i get with my 3.55s.

Living in LA, I drive freeways EVERYDAY.... Several times a day. And LA traffic moves between 80-90MPH

I have 3.73's.... and I know that 4.10s would be WAY too much for me cruising on the freeway @ 80MPH with my 5-speed.

I know we're only supposed to say something if we have non-stock gears... but i'm thinking about getting gears too lol. I have 2:73's and it sucks trying to cruise below 60 in 5th gear.

That's why the transmission has multiple gears to select from...

I took a short run on the highway today at 70 and kept it in 4th to see if the higher RPMs bothered me, car ran great and had plenty of RPM range left to go.

On my fox I went 3.55's and always regretted not going with something higher since the car never saw long highway drives. Think it's 4.10 time for the convertible.
