Quick refresher and backstory: I replaced the MAF unit, sensor, plugs and wires. Car ran like shit. Come to find the following:
Grommet that holds sensor onto the port on the side of the CAI tubing is missing. One spark plug boot all but melted onto exhaust header pipe. Plus, 2 of the 8 new plugs were cracked.
Gee, maybe that’s why!! Doh. LOL shit happens

ah yup I am sure you and I are not the only ones that have been in this place. lessons learned that you hopefully only do one time. I was having issues onetime where it was bucking under acceleration. I popped the hood and everything looked normal till I noticed there was a SLIGHT gap between the cold air intake and the upper/tb. It looked almost normal but you could pull it back just enough to where it was not making contact and well.... Never had that issue again.

Had looms on my ‘59 F100 but those wires were cut to fit. So, not sure the pre-cuts would be long enough to work.
