Getting rid of the timing retard inbeween shifts???

IMO, get a timing retard box from msd and lock out to your total timing and eliminate the computer messing with your timing.

Why would you want to do that? Varying the timing across the RPM band allows greater power and fuel mileage.

only way i have heard of doing it is with a tune/programmer

If you can find one you can get the SVO RPM extender. I haven't looked for one in about a year but they pop up on ebay every so often. Just make sure and get the one for the 94-95 cars.

Im not sure.. for some reason Ford made the 94-95 computers retard the timing everytime you shift. (Based off of the speed sensor im guessing) but the down side is that you have a more "retarted" ignition curve at higher speeds. I have the "crane cams" fireball ignition, but the computer controls are still screwing with the timing..
