So, after the many months during the summer to finally get my car done, its getting close. Close enough to drive it, and run it at the track..Only thing left really is to fix the shaky exhaust at idle..had a buddy tune my car for the idle tune by hand, and it doesnt try to die at all now at the stoplights..Which is a plus. Also got my lokar dipstick tube installed..got a new pinion seal..So hopefully the motor doesnt blow tomorrow!

I'm shooting for 8.80's-8.90's in the 1/8th mile. I'm sure I'll have problems with hooking up (using street tires), but really hope I can cut an 8.80 or so. I ran 9.30's last year before the heads/cams/intake swap..I'd sure hope I can hit those times..I'll post up videos and let you guys know!

P.S. I need to hook up my tachometer..which I dont think I'll have time to do tomorrow because I work before going ot the track..and not sure if I want to do it tonight after I get out of class..Its an autometer, four wires..I know its Power, ground, one for dimmer goes to headlights? and the other goes to tach signal..i heard its somewhere in the ECM or fuse panel..? Thanks guys

Havent heard on update on your situation... def glad you got everything worked out and still have the car. Itll just be the cherry on top if you run good times and have a blast while youre doin it. GL at the track.
