going with FRPP cobra intake manifold

So I decided to buy a cobra intake from FRPP and I know they're for fox bodies.
The only thing I want to know it's what will I need to make it fit?
I'm pretty sure I'll need : edelbrock adapter, strut tower brace (which one ? steeda or bbk is OK?)
Something else?
How much Hp do you think that it can gives me? maybe 15?

All you NEED is:

- Hi-temp RTV
- Gasktets (which will come with it)
- Adapter ~ Edelbrock/BBK/TFS etc. all make one


You don't need the strut tower brace.

Yes, you'll see some...not going to be huge though.

BTW you want ultra grey or ultra black RTV. Do you know where your putting the RTV with the intake??

At the front and back of the block under the lower intake..(where it is rust colored on the block)

Put a fat bead of Hi-Temp RTV on the front and back in those spots. Give it about 15 minutes to start to dry. Then put the lower intake on.

DON'T use the gaskets supplied for those spots. Reason being is if you use those gaskets instead of the RTV...those gaskets will eventually blow out and you'll be leaking oil.

so do you just put a lot of rtv on, then let it dry a little and put some more on before placing the lower on? I didn't let it dry some last time and it spewed oil so I'm trying to get it right this time...

Put it on...give it about 15 minutes or so to dry and form a gasket. Install the lower. No need to add more after it drys.

I used the high tack spray a gasket stuff for my intake gaskets and it has worked very well so far. I used the supplied end rail gaskets and they are not leaking either but I did use some rtv on the end rail gaskets
