Ok boys I know this has been discussed many times but my little brother wants hook me up with a "surprise" set of gears. I need to decide what ratio. Also I need speedo gears. I don't want more than 3.73's but I hear quite a few 5.0 guys that have gone from 3.73's to 3.55's and prefered them because they say the car feels like it has more grunt through the gears and they aren't over so quickly. These guys have had anything from stock sn's to stroked rides so I'm just curious what you guys think. Pro's con's the whole nine. Also top speeds with either set. My car is and will be my daily driver unless I get a new 5.0(lol) I am planning to later build the motor for at least 500 ponies at the ground but well see about all that. I do have a local drag strip and I may take the car to some auto cross or local road corses for fun on weekends. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

3:73 or 3:90s. If I were to get gears again Id get 3:90s. 355 are a waste of time unless you have forced induction.
