good crate motor

i have a 94 cobra and was wondering to get more power to keep up with cars of today, what would be a good crate engine. i have seen several on ebay and was wondering if anyone has ever gotten a crate engine.

why not check out some other places besides ebay. look at some longblocks from fordstrokers, coasthigh, or adperformance.

Ive seen short blocks on ebay for a 331 with forged rods/pistons all put together shipped for 1600. Doesnt seem like to bad of a deal. Your better off getting the parts and building one yourself. But I know how that can be easier said than done. Garage, tools, time, knowledge...) Your gonna be paying for them to build it though plus parts so its gonna be how your budget and what you plan on doing.

Wow, that's a pretty decent price. Had I known that, I may have just scrapped my old shortblock and just bought a 347 and bolted my stuff to do it. It sure would have been a lot easier.

Yep hell do a boss 331. Already asked about it and he said hed be more than willing to build one.
