so when do you spend time w/ the wife and sleep?

Having a kid = less money and time to do car related stuff its just that simple. Its not a matter of just a minor tweak of your daily schedule and still be able to do as much as you did before
Well my wife likes to work on cars with me, it doesn't happen very often but she does like cars. Anything in life will take time away from hobbies. And yes, it is as simple as tweaking your schedule. I may not be the best person to talk to about what mods need to be done and when but this subject I do know about.

Well Im glad that works out good for your but your situation does not = everyone else's situation and how it would work out for them either.
Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to start an argument but "my situation" would be even harder than having one kid. Sorry it just gets under my skin when people act like having kids is the end of your life, and by the way I also work between 70 and 80 hours a week on top of haveing our 8th baby on the way....but I admit it is a major change going from none to one, I suppose onse you have had a couple you get better at fitting in the extra things you like to do...so I do understand what your saying. :thumb:

I know what your saying and Its good that you can manage your time w/ 7 and #8 on the way but the fact is that some people have no free time w/ just one, that's the only point I was trying to make. Every situation is different, every ones work schedules and available free time is different.
I understand what you are saying...sorry for going off I just get alittle touchy with this subject because now days it seens like people are anti big families...I hope you understand :)

Its not right for people to anti family, because familys that are big help build good people with good character. Not saying only child's here are bad, just saying alot of good comes from big familys, and if you have a big enough heart for all those kids, then great!

I myself just don't want the responsibility of marriage/kids, i'm all for being a dad, but the responsibility and all that comes with it is what runs me off. Not saying it won't happen, but I'm not aiming towards it. I'm sure the rewards are well worth all the responsibility, but I just think I can live without said rewards and be happy.

I'm not against big families at all, I think its a good thing and amazing that it can be pulled off in today society which is based more around having 2, 3 kids max. I'm glad that it works out for you, its deff not something that everyone would be able to handle.

Big families prevent selfish brats end of story. If you can afford them why not have a bunch? Besides that way the odds are greater that one of them will grow up to be rich and take care of you when you're old lol.

Well, I hold alot of respect for your thinking because haveing a family is a big responsability and the fact that you realise you are not ready is very comendable.

I'm anti big families. Not because I give a damn about other peoples' free time, just because if every generation multiplies the population by 4 then soon there will be no air to breathe and no food to eat. Oh well, I'm not planning on any so I won't have to worry about them dying of starvation in 40 years. :thumb:

Don't worry, I'm planning on having 4 or 5 kids so I'll make up for you not having any. That way we can both die of starvation in 40 years.

Well at your age I thought I knew everything too. That is probably the stupidist reason for not wanting kids that I have evr heard of. No disrespect intended.

I think this tread should either be locked or get back on track we went from "what mods should i do?" to overpopulation and nuclear war.

The Nuclear war will take care of that.

Does not help when the thread starter posts once and then never comes back.

It's true. He posted once and then hasn't even logged on since then.

As for the nuclear war killing off all of your excess children for you, I've never been one to think that 2 wrongs make a right. :p

no two wrongs dont make a right but I was not referring to children lol, I just mean over population in general and if there was wide spread nuke war it would shurley take care of that.

Speaking of which Ive been watching the last season of the Sara Connor Chronicles every night on FOX even though I saw it but Im just trying to get back up to speed before the start of the new season.

Interesting read, how is that show anyway? I never got around to checking it out even though I love the movies.
