got a problem...

i have a 95 with a 347 stroker in it, i have went through 3 oil pumps. 2 mally or malidon? and a ford racing pump. my motor has maybe 6000 miles on it. can anyone help me??? thank you

you need to find the source of the problem first. whats going bad on the pump?

Whoa...sounds like a blockage or restriction in an oil discharge galley they missed in block prep.

thanks for the help. i found out what it was... the dumbass that built my motor didn't clean the crank off good enough after he balanced it and pieces of slag are coming off of it and going through my motor. i have two mains and a rod baering scared. i'm a lil hot about that. but thanks for the help

Ouch!! Sorry to hear the misfortune. They are a little bit expensive, but I have had good service from the Precision pumps. They are basically stock pumps that are deburred, tolerances inspected, fit-checked, blue-printed and fully tested.

On a side note, if something that large is in the oil pan, it should not pass through the pump if you have a pick-up screen on the pick-up. Are you running a screen? No pump damage should be occurring; but that does not mean the pickup screen is not blocked and restricting oil flow through the engine. Hope this helps!!
