Got Another Mustang!

Got me a another Mustang. Bring her home tomorrow. Completely stock. 1997 COBRA, 73k miles. I am dying to get my suspension parts and exhaust parts put on it. My first Cobra and can't wait to start learning the ins and outs with this one. I am going to change it up in a low key classy way cosmetically. It has Anniversary wheels on it. That will change. I'll put my Anthracite Bullits on her and see how it looks. Better, I'm sure.
-Anyway, I am very happy to have it. Got it very cheap. Feel lucky, feel excited.

How much did you have to throw down to get that car? -1997 COBRA, 73k miles, $5,000. Maintained, one owner, a Millionaire with several Stangs, just had picked up an '09 Shelby GT500 Kr and an old GT350.

Thanks everyone. I will be immediately transplanting the Prochamber/Flowmaster 10 mufflers, suspension, short throw shifter, tons of great parts to do it up beautifully!!!

Loving the Cobra. I'll start a build thread this week. The car is fantastic. -The V6 needs a new drivers side door. Slid in the snow at an angle trying to turn into my parking lot, a bus across the way tried to move ahead and out of the way, but slid backwards and towards me instead. We hit, door buckled in, glass fell inside. I will replace the door and have the V6 for sale real soon.

that sucks but at least you're moving towards something faster. with news though i say put the v6's bullits on the new cobra. not to mention a lot of the other parts you have on there.

A couple of pics taken at work today with the phone. I "Blacked Out" the car with some tint and vinyl, reflective bumper inserts, black Cobra's, taillights w/sequential's, smoked headlights, 5k LED fog lamps are back-ordered from V-LED. The new mufflers go on next week. I'm loving the car. It's a blast to drive, I don't want to get out of it!

I'll take some better pictures later in the week when I have a day off.
