Got my car Back tonight

just got VT stage 1 cams in it with what i have in my sig. and it runs good but the idle is sort of all over the place and it dies somtimes at a dead stop, so were goin to see what happens if we change the maf b/c the one on there now is shity nd if that dont work guess im getting a tune, i thought i heard that alot guys on here with those cams nd didnt need to get a tune right away they could wait for acouple months

um, from what ive ALWAYS heard you need a tune with aftermarket cams.

Im thinking you need a tune dude...you can raise the idle with the tuner so it wont die too

not true. Normally tunes are only needed when the cams are not degreed and are out of balance between the two banks. Thats on a mild cam. Now anything more than a comp 270 or similar will need a tune. My cams were within 2Ã‚Âº of each other and i had idle problems occasionally.
