lol im finding other threads about people wondering what these blocks came out of?. Im going to take a guess at saying its a remanufactured block replaced under ford powertrain warranty.

thats what my dad thinks. he thinks its a re manufactured block under warranty. i will have the pics up tomorrow. i have to use my girlfriends computer to resize the images.

the pistons are definitely forged, they have JE imprinted on them and the rods look a bit bulkier than a stock rod. it came from a reputable shop. and i never heard what year the motor was. it has less than 10,000 miles on it (and looks brand spankin new looking at the crank and through the bottom end).. there is minimal carbon buildup on the piston domes (i can still see the face of the pistons in some areas).. it looks really good. the block itself is even clean. no rust on it or anything.

i will get pics up tomorrow so you guys can check it out. :thumb:

did you just honestly say there was no rust on a aluminum block? :hammer:

there's 2... one in the build section... it's mainly just pictures, and the one here in the Garage(that might not even be on the front page anymore) it's got a lot of pics, and questions...
