That's pretty slick. Is this a custom made kit, or did you buy it from somewhere?

How much weight did you say you saved again?

haha

thats my beef with those things...

your replacing something that only weighs 30-40 pounds tops with some plywood thats got to weigh 10 pounds atleast

Probably only saving 30 pounds tops with one of those kits but I guess its more for looks.

It's not plywood, it's like a woven-wood derivative or something. It's very lightweight. I ordered it from American Muscle. Total it saved me 27 pounds, but I did it more for looks than weight really.

This is another thing that is generational. Delete means to remove, so when I read a post like this someone is installing a "remove".

Back in the days of yore, when you removed something you removed it. If you wanted to make it look nice afterwards then you "finished" it. A few feet of automotive carpeting from a parts store and some masonite or similar backing board from Home Depot would get the job done for about $50 or less. How much did the kit cost? Looks nice.

just wait until your drunk friends jump in your backseat after you remind them numerous times that the thin board is NOT meant to be sat on and then you hear CRAAAAAAAAAAAACKKKKKKKKKA LKEWHJRTBAWET OBGFBDSAFGASKJDBE

and you look at your once nice rear seat delete broke in half...

Is it any louder? I have my back seat out and while driving i can hear my fuel pump and noisy ass Auburn Pro Rear Diff.....i never realized the back seat blocked so much noise.

Ever since i installed the 255lph pump i could hear it a little but with the rear seat out i can hear it loud and clear. Once i run new wires for my radio i'll pop that baby back in happily.

I really can't tell you that, because I installed my pro-dumps the same day lol...so it was gonna be louder inside my car anyway. As far as how much w/o the exhaust, IDK...sorry :(

Your rear seat delete looks good!
The only downside is increased road noise and you can hear your fuel pump better.
