I'm looking at some 315 Mickey Thompson ET Street/Drag radials. My 245 Goodyear Eagle F1s are nice on the street but royally suck at the track.

I can still use my F1s on the front once I put on my MTs in the rear right? Or should I get a different front tire? I'm running 2.7 60' on these Goodyears.

I think they need at least a 10" wheel. I'm picking up some 10.5 17 FR500s.

With the 315 DR's on the back of your car, if its coming a good rain, does your car like to slide around doing 55-60mph? (Highway traveling)

If its raining out side you need to use extreme caution when its raining, the BFG's have a PRE SHAVED tread depth so there is not a lot of tunnel area for water to travel under. I dont drive mine over 50mph when its raining........period :)

btw: we drove my buddies 03 cobra in the snow with the 315 bfgs...

You just can't act like an idiot and everything will be fine.

I need to do a shoot with my track rims/tires (et streets)

And then a shoot with the saleens on :D

get a safety loop.. iono if youve seen Forza Motorsport challenge on speed but the camaro (i think or the challenger) dropped his driveshaft while going around the track (road course) and it stuck in the ground and put a huge hole in the floorboard and metal and debris was flying everywhere in the cockpit... they showed the whole thing with an in car view.. it was insane.. get a safety loops.. idk if it had one or not.. even if he did, things probably could have ended up a lot worse without it...

Ah. Most of the time, I only drive the Mustang on the weekends, but occassionally, I'll drive it to work every now and then. Spring storms suck, got scared Thursday because it poured down about 2" in a matter of no time while I was attempting to drive the car home in one piece.
