As of Saturday my car is now making a new noise, it sounds like it is coming from the cap and rotor? I just changed the cap and rotor today and the noise appeared so I popped the hood to see what the phuck was up...Ill post up a video here in a minute and pics of the old cap and rotor where you can see that theyve been making some serious contact

msd isn't very reliable in our car for what ever reason.
some have had good luck but for most MSD =May Suddenly Die

I'm running a remanned from Oriellys or you can get a oem 1 from ford

get a rebuilt unit from autozone... around 80bucks. They are based on the foxbody distributors but still fit our cars. They are better than the MSD stuff...

People usually spend too much money on electric parts when usually the OEM parts are better than 90% of aftermarket. Some aftermarket parts are good but you are taking a chance with a sudden failure. There's a reason why ford used the parts they used: RELIABILITY.

Also, most of the time aftermarket electrics offer very little to 0 gains.

Yep, before I bought my '95 from my buddy, he had the exact same problem. The bushings were worn and the rotor would flop around so bad above 4k RPMs that it would break the top contact on the rotor off. He had to keep a few in the glovebox just in case LOL.

Then he finally replaced it with an........ MSD :angry7:
