gt for cobra

alright im in a little troble here. my buddy just got a 98 cobra with 120,000 miles on it. its black and just got sent to okc to get a new paint job and some body work and a king cobra clutch. nothing big i saw it before it was sent. but i have an autumn orange gt and prob put arond a good 5 grand fixing and maintainance and a 1500 stereo system. its been my baby for about a year and he wants to trade straight up so im realll indecisive and cant decide to do it. what do you guys think

For sure, for some of us sentimental value is greater than just speed. It's all about your priorities.

Thats because autumn orange is a rare color. I say keep yours, you'll be happy you did.

IMO, if you have REALLY CLEAN SN95 you need to hold on to it. Something i never see are Clean SN95s..... they are rare and when people see a clean SN95 they stare hard :boink:

If it were me, I would look real hard at trading. Take his for a drive when he gets it. See if you like the way it drives more. Plus it's a Cobra. Resale value will always be higher for a Cobra vs a GT.

ya itl be a little bit before he gets it back. see the kid is a rich kid who is in ALOT of legal troubles from doing stupid shit. so he told me either he trades it with me or his dads selling it for like 4000 grand. o to the person who said theyd drive to get it...go for it itl give me a reason to keep mine lol. but the thig is i have 150000 miles on mine and for some reason its not idling right goes down and up...weird. so im thinkin my engines about to give up on me

That Cobra is a Sn95 too....

Take the Cobra or smack youself alot while you do your 32v swap in a few years

Black that thing out. Black Saleens with dark tint. Pimp it out some and it has less miles and more power. I would really look into doing it. 32v is much better than the 2v. Give it a good thought at least.

I think you need to clean your Idle Air Control valve(IAC).

thats hard...It depends on what you want really.

I dont think I would trade my car unless the cobra was as clean as mine.
