if you cant drive, yea tahts about right, if you dont hook well, thats about right, thoes wheels are pretty heavy and you have much for a power mod, just an intake and then gear, i dont see whats horribly off

I am hoping to get to a track in a couple weeks. I'd like to get some nitrous before I go though:)

as far as driving I just put my gas pedal on the floor, not all that complicated. There is no tire spin at all unless Im holding my foot on the brake;)

Im not happy about that time but from what ive seen its not terribly slow for one of these cars with an auto and the few mods but thats why Im asking.

My car on the G-tech said 15.5@93mph with my cousin driving it with me. When I raced at the track(only place I race :p) I got a 15.1@92mph with a 2.3 60 foot(street tires FTL!). My car is bone stock minus gears and exhaust, and track is 1600ft above sea level...

went to the track last night. I only got 1 timed run which was a 15.6, it wasnt my best run but its the only one that I got a time on. So mid to low 15's is where im sitting at for the moment, but I hope to be able to improve on that with some practice and adjusting.

You also gotta realize.... the gtech meter doesn't know you have 4.30 gears and is actually going to give you a faster time then what you would run at the track... I would think you could be hitting low to mid 14's. Id run some codes to see if anything is wrong with your car.

^^ Gears doesnt have ANYTHING to do with a G-tech. The reason you have to level it is because it sets "points" to where a 1/8 and 1/4 mile are. Gears have NOTHING to do with a time on the G-tech. Techincally, The g-tech said I run 15.5@92mph, I actually ran 15.1@92mph, and that's with a 2.3 sixty footer...

Then I must not fully understand how a gtech works. It plugs into your cigarette lighter doesn't it? Then how does it calculate exactly how long a 1/4mile is when you would have gears, + different tire/rim height? Must be the black magic.

It does NOTHING with your computer. Gears make a car accelerate faster. It doesnt need to know that stuff. As I said you have to LEVEL it to 0 so it can set "points" fro 1/8,1/4 mile and 0-60 times. It doesnt even ask what car you have, you plug it in, level it, and go...

u should be running high 14's. if you want to go faster get a 2500-3500 stall converter it will help get you off the line alot its the best mod for auto cars imo. other than that you got to pay to play lol buy more performance parts

Agreed. I droped .6 in the 1/4 with a higher stall converter, and ET Streets.
