I think if you're worried about power windows because its just something else to fail you're looking at it the wrong way. I used to have a DD with crank windows and it was a pain in the ass.

As a Texan Ill tell you that cloth seats arent a bad touch. Youre less likely to burn you @$$. However, you being from Maryland, having experienced the opposite in a freak history making blizzard, you are less likely to freeze you @$$ off with cloth seats.
Pretty much the GTS is the LX of the SN95 community. However due to its rarity, many people may claim that you are a poser and misbadged a v6. Such options like fog lights can be added, as Im assuming they still prewired them in 95... ...TEAL however is SOOOO 1995, and even then I never understood the that turquoise trend, but is that worth it being rare?

there is no such thing as a perfect car, especially on your budget. get the car thats closest to what you want, or easiest to get to what you want. seats are a hell of a lot easier and cheaper to swap than an engine. theres liturally 4 bolts holding each seat in, and my leather seats are going to the next person in my driveway with $150. (FYI, $150 < $900)

so, if you dont want my leather COBRA seats for $150 and still have an extra $750 left over, and the 302 you like, you can spend that extra $900 on some brand new, mint contdition, BAMF racing seats still in the plastic
or, option b, you can spend the extra $900 on a slow car. but your ass will be nice and comfy. :dontknow:

GTS ALL THE WAY! I have a 95 GT and i would only wish i had a GTS
the 95 GTS is a lot lighter(no electric seats, no electric windows, no strut tower brace, 5.0, etc)
the 97 has no advantage at all in my opinion... It's harder to work on, it's heavier, it has less torque...
Go with the 95 gts... 5.0 RULES! I have taken 02s with pi motors by 3 cars with my lightly modded 5.0 and a set of nittos NT05R =D :headbang:
