guess what happend...

was driing my car on the interstate yesterday and i go over a bridge that is kinda un-even... well i hear a loud pop! i cintinue to drie and get off at the next exit. get out and look under my car. i do see nothing, so i continue to drie to my house and i stop at a light and hear the pop again, get to my house and jack the car up to find that when i hit the bump that it ripped a large piece on my frame and the front sway bar bracket completle out.. :angry7: so i dont know what to do.. it ripped about a 5 inch piece of frame... bought half way up the side.. so im running no front sway bar...


how do i fix this?

pics are a must.. your front sway bar doesn't connect to any subframe on your car... so perhaps pictures would clear things up a bit... :dontknow:

im guessing you will have to weld in some re-enforcements and adding subframe connectors would prob be a good idea as well.

yea i guess it got in a bind of some sort and ripped it out? im going to try and stiffen it up... thats if i dont sell it.

I think I would fix it and dump it. You might have some other underling structural problems.
