Guess What? I Passed!

I just took the ole 98 that has an O/R H-pipe with Flowmaster 44's to have the emissions done and she Passed with Straight A's
They wanted me to pull in over the oil pits, but my car is soo Low the kmember wont clear. I had to go around the shop and back up into the bay door. I was tring hard not to romp on it. The guy doing the test asked if it had been in the shop? I was like NOPE, with this big ass im lieing<-spelchk) look on my face. He said he knew it didnt have converters because the exhaust smelled so bad....Oh, well As long as it passed it what i told him...

Dont know...Its not every county, I think its the Metro counties only.

I know a guy who had an Offroad H and just went to a Goodyear tire place for inspection. He had the MIL turned off and still passed. This is in PA and they are pretty strict here I guess it's hit or miss.

I do have MILs. They dont work though. All i did was disconnect my Batt cable overnight. This caused my CEL to go out. I then drove my car for 4 days and got it inspected today.

Mines tuned...no light..It might actually pass even without the cats...but they look i beleive.

I'm putting my MIL eliminators on tonight. Why did yours go bad for $65 that damn light better never turn on. :wall:

Dont know, Its always been on. If i were to disconnect the Batt. Its goes off BUT always comes back on....

Dont know, Its always been on. If i were to disconnect the Batt. Its goes off BUT always comes back on....

Mine only took off like 2 of the 6 codes

I only need them to take off my "catalytic converters functioning below threshold" code and didn't feel like dropping a few hundred for a handheld tuner.

I havent installed my o/r xpipe on yet cause i had to go through emission this week. (GA also)

was kinda pissed, they DIDNT check for cats at all, i mean, they checked on my old taurus and my grand marquis!

no matter where you live inspection is always a PITA. plus I feel the whole emissions thing is BS.
