I'm in the planning process of next winters project. I'm going to do a H/C/I upgrade to my 94 GT. The engine has only 61,000 miles with no internal work done, but has all the external bolt on parts (70 mm throttle body, cold air intake, under drive pulleys, shorty headers, high flow H pipe and cat back, as well as a MSD ignition and coil.)
The setup that I have in mind is this:
Trick Flow street intake
Trick Flow Twisted wedge aluminum heads
Ford E303 cam
Ford 1.7 Roller rockers
Do you guys see any problems with this setup? Should I go with stud mounted or standard mounted rockers, as well as 1.6 or 1.7 rockers? Also anything that I have to know about picking the cc size of the heads? I was also wondering about the E303 cam and its computability with the 94-95 computer. Will it idle descent, or do i have to do the fox body computer swap? 1 Last thing, I'm shooting for 275-300 rwhp. With my current mods i have 201 rwhp, Is 300 out of the question with this H/C/I upgrade?
