H-pipe

Just out of curiosity does anyone run an H-pipe? I'm fabricating my own exhaust and will be making one. I see x-pipes all over but never saw an H-pipe (main reason I'm making one), I don't care about tech stuff just wondering if anyone runs an H-pipe and if so do you have any pictures?

never saw an H pipe? The stock midpipe is an H pipe. I have one now, it's not my favorite.

I went with an X, I like it.

I used a bbk with my shorties and have a bbk H for my LT's, 4.6 style though.

I just ordered kooks long tubes with their custom X... Gonna sound sick I'll post some dyno sheets when I'm done, I've heard 9-13whp gain to the tire, we'll see how true that is.

I had an O/R H-pipe with Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers, and it sounded nasty. Like, people would come up to me and ask what I had. Unfortunately, I had to put the stock H-pipe back on, so now my car is really quiet, and people give me all kinds of crap about it.
Anyway, most of the 4.6 L guys I know go for the X-pipe because it sounds raspy and "exotic," whereas most of the 5.0 L guys go for the deep rumble of the H-pipe.
