Well i have the pro-kit on my car now and want it lower, but i cant help to choose between h&r super sports or eibach sportlines, which one will give me a lower drop and better handling. also out of all the h&r springs to the super sports give you the largest drop i intend to also upgrade my struts and shocks was looking at bilstien struts and shocks and also tokico d-spec adjustables but my question is besides being able to adjust the tokicos are they better the the almighty bilistien..

Get some coilovers if you wanna go low... adjustable, great performing, and light weight...

I had a pro kit and didnt like it either, I would go H&R SS w/o isolators! They look killer.

I did go coil-overs my self, but you will need Shocks/Struts as well...you will also need CC plates for both if you want proper alignment and there a MUST for coil overs.

+1

I have a pro kit and I loved it... But I am planning on getting some coil overs maybe next summer...

And make sure you get CC plates from MM, they are the only ones (to my knowledge) that make 4 bolt CC plates... Not to mention their products are proven to be top of the line... You cannot go wrong with Maximum Motorsports

I am very pleased with my H&R Super Sports. I'm using Tokico Illuminas and for as low as it is it rides awesome, not harsh or bouncy.

UPR makes a 4 bolt CC plate. I have a set.

I wish I would have gone this route. It would have only been a couple hundred more, after I bought the Bilsteins and the Springs.

I am either going to go with the SS or some bullitt springs. I have heard some great stuff about them paired with a set of adj shocks.

Super sports are lower. I Have them and I'm extremely pleased.......
I'm typically seeing that the Pro kit comes out to around 1.25-1.5" lower, Sportlines are dropping about 2", and Supersports are around 1.75" without removing the isolators. When you take those out, that's when people are dropping to 2" plus.

Pro kit was not low enough for me either so I cut about half a coil plus an inch off the fronts. It looks perfect, rides the same and I could not be happier. Only cost me a an hour and 5 bucks for cutting wheels.

that's cool, but since the prokit and the sportlines cost the same, I don't think that is a good choice for our friend :dunno:

I did not see how old this was at first, but that still does not change the fact that the very first sentence of this entire thread he said he has the pro kit.

Also forgot to mention that the Sportlines are not as stiff as the pro kit and I used to have the Supersports and they were to freaking stiff for my liking. (7xxlbs compared to 5xx for the prokit in the front) That is why cutting the pro kit might be a better choice than the sportlines.

H&R SuperSports really aren't that bad when used with good struts. For the most part i think my car rides great, yeah it's firm but it's not harsh.

I had bilsteins... lol. I don't think I can get that much better without spending a lot more money. Maybe im just a pussy lol. All I know is that I don't road race on a track or anything and after getting a better stance and a smoother ride I am glad I switched. Everyone likes it different though.

Yeah, no doubt Bilsteins are good struts but with adjustable struts you can soften the ride to your liking.

Instead of good I should have said adjustable.
