so ive been trying to solve this issue and have had NO luck whatsoever. i checked the tps voltage and the voltage was fine, changed iac, distributor, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, cleaned mass air, cleaned tb, cleaned air temp sensor, replaced dryrotted vac lines, new o2 sensors, new 255lph fuel pump, new fuel filter, tried installing a "custom restictor plate" (had read about in another forum) and still no fix, if i unplug the iac it runs great, just a pita to start...i had thought about running a toggle switch to the iac but would rather just get it fixed the right way...any of you guys had this problem before?

ive also ran codes at ford and here is what i got
176/181/332/172/136

i messed with it a lil while ago and left the iac unplugged and raised the idle a little, turned off the car, unplugged the battery, but oil in the car, fired it up and it had no problem starting, went straight at an idle, drove fine.....i think ill leave it at that until i get the turbo on and get it tuned. maybe while theyre tuning it they can fix the hanging idle or something

You are running crazy lean even when the computer conpesates by adding more fuel disconecting the iac is not going to solve your issue. Your no getting enough fuel or you have a crazy vac leak. And fix your egr.

i suggest clearing codes, starting from there...

after that, replace IAC.
after that, look into a restrictor plate.
after that, look into throttle idle screw, maybe not move it, but make sure it's actually there.
after that, make sure your idle hole on the throttle plate isnt clogged (if applicable)
.. . . .. .. .. most people find the restrictor plate to be the way to fix this.

I would not change the iac if im not getting a code fot it. Check the voltage make sure it changes as you move the throtle Cause it can get expensive if you just start changing random parts.

I second that...vaccuum pump the lines and see if it holds, if you can't pump it indicating a leak, smoke test it and trace your leak...all faults you describe and your the faults your car flags are all indicating to much air/lean..aka vaccuum leak either with lines or egr vaccuum due to error code 332: Insufficient EGR Flow Detected
