hey guys i was just surfing around and this thought came across my mind. We did it with stock spoiler when i had a MR2 and you can do it with the 99 stangs also. Taking a Crab Claw off a 94-95 Cobra and trimming it to make it flush like a S281 Spoiler. Has anyone thought about this or seen anyone that has done this??

I think I'm getting what you are saying! Take the 94-95 Cobra wing & remove the 2 parts where it attaches to the deck lid, right? From what pics I've found of it, I think that would look pretty good.

Found a pic of CW Cobra's. Remove the parts I drew an arrow to?

I think you need to find a darker looking car to really tell by looking. I cannot PS, or I would myself. Why wouldn't it? I think it is longer than the trunk is wide? My 281 I think is?

I like the idea, however, I don't know if it'll look that good. I'd hate for you to ruin a crabclaw, but I'd find one and see. If anything, it'll be different looking.

Think i ought to pick up a dremel though to do it and some fiberglass. Out of all the tools i have and no dremel :)

I've thought about that as well...with the stock spoiler.

Could look pretty cool...but its def gonna take some custom work. I just got my s281, so I'm happy with that...but def give it a try!
