has anyone had this problem

i was putting my motor back together today and i had a problem with bolting my mac headers up to my world products heads. maybe because i have the double holes for big tubes but the holes are shorter could it be cause these are 351w swap headers and the motor is a 351w also for those who would have asked

I assume he means the bolts he has are too long for the holes on his heads, so they are bottoming out.

Stick a screwdriver into one of the holes, and mark off how deep the hole is. Take one of your bolts that has the right thread pitch, go to the hardware store, and get the same thread, but the proper length. I'd double check to make sure all of the holes are the same depth before I went to the store, though.

I know my world heads have two holes for bolts on the exhaust ports if thats what you mean? just use which ever line up with your headers.

yeah what im saying is the mac headers have the mounting holes and they are too short the bollts are not lining up

I still don't get it.

The bolt holes are too shallow and your header bolts are bottoming out? Or the bolt holes on your header flange are not lining up with the bolt pattern on your cylinder heads?

this is what he is saying the bolt holes on the heads are say 3in apart and the holes on the headers are like 3.5. given these are not the right numbers but you know what i mean
