Have any of you dumped the aode for a 4r70w?

Is so i need info on the swap. I hate my aode and it went out on me uke: So i heard 96-98 v6 4r70w will bolt up to a 5.0 has anyone done this swap or a 4r70w in a 5.0 sn95 on here or know of a tech thread. This swap is gonna happen within the next two weeks as i got my old pos out last weekend.

Forget ANY Ford automatic.....they suck. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on a Lentech....They have diff combos for what your setup. Check it out

I know autos suck.. thats why after its fixed im selling it. I dont have the money for a lentech. I picked up a 4r70w with low miles for 200 bucks and need info and would have figured someone on a sn95 board would have done it or know someone who has. This board is worthless when it comes to tech.

mansonozz on stangnet built one and bolted it up in his 92 gt vert. It'll work, i suggest getting it cleaned up and going ahead and throwing a shift kit in er
