Havin some trouble the car

hey i need some help, i have no idea whats going with my car...when i first bought it, it was spitting gas pretty bad but i went and started putting some premium gas in and it helps a whole hell of a lot no more spitting except when i go from 4th gear to 5th gear anytime it starts to spit gas and it seems like everything loses power, last night i had to pull over and throw it in neutral because when i pressed the gas it just didnt go, after i pulled over and let it sit a second everythign was fine but its still frustrating to have to do that...other than that i have no idea what the hell is going on please help! :help2:

So when you say Spittin gas... what do you mean> like... the car surges while you're driving? you could always take the beast to Houston and have Ryan check it out. i'm sure somebody on here can help... you just might have to be more specific.

i mean like all the sudden just jerk, and then have no power for like half a sec or so to the gas pedal

Gotcha... so the car surges when you shift from 4th-5th and loses power... not electrical power, but HP power... anybody got any thoughts... I'm not there to check it out myself :dunno:
Actually, i have that some problem, but only when my car is cold... Zachary... you DO have a Cam, and the car wasn't tuned, that COULD be part of it. i'll post this before everyone else gets in on it. they're going to tell you a cam in an SN95 5.0 needs a tune. or the car won't run right.
