Head gasket mistake??

I just realized that I ordered Fel Pro mls gaskets number 1134 which is 4.180 bore my engine is not bored at all. Stock gasket is 4.100 I believe. What shoukd I do now?

Best answer is tear your motor down and bore it to match. Can never have too much displacement.















Boring answer is see if you can return them and get the correct ones.

Either put gasket on which will only be a minuscule compression difference or wait for exchange. I would install and not think about again.

Should be fine. Performance aspects are the factors with this, but only if the engine is set up for it.

Could chamfer the cylinders to the gasket bore size. Doing so improves valve unshrouding

Such as high compression. Un spent Fuel being trapt between the head and block. Who knows, you may stumble onto something good. Goofy things like this happen all the time and magically perform better...who knows why. I dont see using the gaskets would pose a big problem on an otherwise stock engine
