So installed my HID kit and mounted the drivers side ballast right behind the headlight with the harness connection pointing up. So after driving through a good rain the water flowed up over the headlight and got into the harness connection and burnt it out I'm guess.. So I tryed to diagnose this problem. Factory bulbs still worked so it was the ballast and not the headlight harness.

So I take the ballast apart start peeling away some silicone to see what the problem might be and it shorted out and popped my other ballast.. now the low beams don't work at all, even with factory bulbs. I still have high beams and fogs on the same full headlight harness. So I have no idea what the problem is. Change a fuse under the hood that popped but I don't even know if that was the problem or even has a manual to see the fuse box diagram that's under the hood.

check your fuses, check them all........ It takes 2 mins, be sure to get the ones under the dash and by the battery. If you had water up to the headlights your lucky you didn't suck any in.
