So I was cleaning out the garage today , and found my old alpine cta1505 and 12 disc changer . I am thinking about putting it in the stang . However I have head that those 460 systems take a special harness , Or does the factory amps have rca inputs ?

Also uncovered my speaker box and amp , some KBB quart 12's and a kicker amp ....

Mustang is gonna get some basssssss .... Hahaha

I just picked up the harness from Walmart and it worked just fine. Have my mids and my highs still. I'm going to be installing a pioneer double din but I had my Kenwood flip out in there for awhile and everything was great

I used the Metra 70-5510 for my Pioneer double DIN conversion. I ordered it from eBay. It just seemed like better quality than the Wal-Mart Scosche stuff.

The Metra 70-5510 is for aftermarket head units that have RCA outputs. The Metra 70-5511 is for aftermarket head units that do NOT have RCA outputs.

Use the harness that's already intended for the radio. Don't run a wire to the battery. Waste of time and not worth the hassle.
