Header install

I was looking at my stock headers and my new headers. There is no place for the egr tube on the new ones. Someone please enlighten me! :wall:

The guy I got them from had them on the same year car as mine. 94 :wall: :wall:

+1 on the EGR delete. The guy you bought them from didnt have one and unless you want to make a headache for yourself, you arent going to have one either.

Yea. that is what I figured, so I think I will sell the one's I have and get the correct ones.

Why would you get rid of the EGR? It is there for a reason and it is not slowing the car down by any means..

If you delete the EGR you can get rid of all the smog crap such as the pump and all that garbage correct? It looks alot better not having that stuff in there.

You can delete the smog pump weather or not you have the EGR the two are not connected.

True i wrote that badly i ment if you get rid of the EGR and don't have to worry about smog you cant get rid of all of the emissions stuff.

meh, EGR can actually help things out sometimes believe it or not.... if it were me i would just get a weld on bung and go from there... a lot easier than deleting your egr and a lot cheaper than buying new headers again

EGR increases fuel mileage and has zero negative effect on performance. There is no reason to remove it.

meh, i guess some people believe all the increased carbon buildup BS *shruggs* that and the exhaust gas takes up space ramble that you are bound to get from atleast one guy in the group...
